The Indian Journal of Neighbourhood Studies (IJNS) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed e-journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary scholarship on the multiple meanings, dimensions, and dynamics of India’s neighbourhood in contemporary regional and international affairs. It approaches the “neighbourhood” not merely as a geographic or strategic category, but as a relational and lived space, constituted through historical interactions, political contestations, economic flows, cultural exchanges, ecological interdependencies, and everyday practices across borders.
